House Update

Ok, so I know it's been a while since I have posted but here are the latest pictures. They have made some great progress! They will finish the electrical work soon and early next week start the drywall. We are still working on choosing interior finishes and making lots of decisions. It can get pretty stressful at times. We hope to be moved in by early August, so mark you calendars. :)

The Latest On the House!!

It's now starting to really look like the house we envisioned!! They put in the windows this week and continue to frame the inside. Bob and I have been busy picking out stuff, some decisions are easier than others!!! We are quickly deciding on stucco and stone colors so they can get submitted for approval. Plumbing fixtures and cabinets have been decided and ordered. The "to do" list is slowly becoming shorter. I'm so looking forward to spending time on our quiet deck in the summer sun hopefully WITHOUT golf balls near!! Hope you are enjoying witnessing the progress as much as we are. Can't wait for everyone to enjoy the finished product with us!!

Spring Break in Mexico

We recently went on a trip to Puerto Vallarta with my family. We had a great time and enjoyed the much needed rest. We enjoyed our many days at the beach or by the pool. Here are a few pictures from the trip.

House Update

The foundation is in! They will start framing tomorrow and will be done in a couple of weeks. It's getting exciting now that it's finally starting to look like a house. Sorry it's been a while since a post we have been a little busy packing to move this week.Yes, we sold our house and are preparing to move in with my parents. Although it will be a few month before we have a house to live in we are relieved to have our's sold! Our builder told us they are "flying" on the house, I hope that's true! :)

"Breaking Ground"

On Thursday, Feburary 6th the digging started! They finished by Friday and ready for the foundation, which will be started on Monday! We went to the Colorado Home and Garden show and got many ideas to add the the tons of ideas we already had. The builder gave us a long list of homework, things to pick out, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. One step at a time, and I promise they won't all be included on here. :)
